My apartment

Car Accident

Photos I took after I got rear ended on April 5 2007. I would normally take I-10 West, but it was chockers so I took 59 South instead. This is how I wound up!

My new apartment (Lake Jackson)

So this is my new home sweet home. It's a smaller apartment than my old one, but newer. There also isn't under cover parking, but at least I can park right outside my door, which is nice when I have shopping.

Honeywell Users' Group 2007Photos I took on the week I went away for HUG. Also includes photos from Las Vegas.

Incidentally these were the first photos I took with my new Nikon S50. It's a nice little camera, but it seems to do some funny things under low light...

HUG: Phoenix, Arizona

These photos were taken at the HUG event which was held at the Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa.

A truly lovely place with a heap of history (every US President since 1930 has stayed there) and fittingly, damn expensive! Also... damn hot! I think it averaged 105F while I was there.

Las Vegas

My boss beat the drum for us to go to Las Vegas after HUG, since Phoenix and Las Vegas are so close together... and so we went!

You'll see some speckle in some of the shots taken in the dark. I have no idea what has caused them since I checked the lens and there was nothing there. I hope there is nothing wrong with my camera...

LASIK February 2008

Some photos taken a few hours after I got LASIK. My eyes are all bloodshot because of the machine that slices off the top layer of the cornea.

Nickelback concert August 2007

Yeah I went to the Nickelback concert when they came to Houston! The show was awesome, but my camera ran out of batteries just as Nickelback started :( Otherwise I would have got more photos! (Note to self: buy spare battery...)

Lake Conroe August 25 2007

Todd invited me to go up to Lake Conroe with his family and I had an absolute BLAST!

I had never tubed or water skiied before and it was heaps of fun.
